Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle. Additional services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Abundant Life Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Lawrence Frank, pastor, and the Rev. Gary Byrd, pastor of Christian Heritage Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Simms was born in Manitou, Okla., and had been an Amarillo resident for more than 30 years. In the 1950s, she had been a telephone operator in Mountain Park, Okla. She was a homemaker and member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Holiness Church. She married Alfred R. Simms in 1925 at Frederick, Okla. He died in 1990. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Beatrice Crow, in 1994. Survivors include three daughters, Lorene McCallick of Hobart, Okla., Arleta Stapp of Amarillo and Nancy Patrick of Fort Worth; two sons, A.R.
