All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Fairview Cemetery--Apache OK Lawton Constitution 29 Apr 2003 Eula Merle Scammahorn APACHE — Funeral for Eula Merle Scammahorn, 88, Apache, will be at 2 p.m. today at Apache First Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Shade, pastor, and the Rev. A.L. Swagerty officiating. Mrs. Scammahorn died Saturday, April 26, 2003, in Lawton. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Apache, under direction of Crews Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Roosevelt. She moved to Apache from Carnegie in 1931. She married Clyde Leonard Scammahorn on Oct. 20, 1935, in Apache. She worked for the Apache Sale Barn for several years, and did bookkeeping for Apache Farmers Co-op until she retired in 1978. She was a member of Apache First Baptist Church, and played the piano for many years. She also played the piano at the Cyril Nursing Home, and was a member of the Apache Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include three sons: Eddie Scammahorn and Gary Scammahorn, both of Apache; and Gene Scammahorn, Plano, Texas; a daughter, Donna Wainscott, Lawton; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lola Sheen, Lompoc, Calif. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Kiowa County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/kiowa/kiowa.html
