All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 25 Jun 2002 Ila Lavois Blackie Taylor BETHANY — Funeral for former Snyder resident Ila Lavois Blackie Taylor, 65, Bethany, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mercer-Adams Funeral Chapel, Bethany. Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. in Snyder Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at her home. She was born Sept. 19, 1936, in Snyder to Lee Edward "Bid" Ryder and Lucy Hodson Ryder. She was a member of Bethany First Baptist Church,. Survivors include her children: Leann, of the home; Jeannene, Crescent; and Lewis and his wife, Sandra, Yukon; four grandchildren: Billy, Miste, Brooke and Ashlee; a great-granddaughter, Emery; five brothers: Billy Joe, Johnny, A.J., Jerry and Bobby; five sisters: her twin, Valois Schuller; Wynema New; Sharon Phelps; Sandra Hannington; and Shirleta Benfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church building fund, 3800 N.
