Tate, 83, formerly of Mansfield, graduated this life into the arms of Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2006.Funeral: Noon Friday at Pleasantview Baptist Church. Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Arlington Funeral Home.Pallbearers: her grandsons, Jeffrey Tate, Seth Tate, Dean Tate, David Sumpter, Steven Russell, Dallas Dodson, Jay Tate and Adam Tate. Geneva C. Tate was born Feb. 4, 1923, in Fort Cobb, Okla., to Elmer and Bertha Mauldin. She was a long time Mansfield Real Estate Broker and a member of the Nazarene Church. A very special thanks to Arlington Villa Nursing Home's loving and caring staff.Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Winfred W. Tate of Arlington; daughter, Elaine Dodson and husband, Lynn, of Arlington; sons, the Rev. Jerry Tate and wife, Sue, of Arkansas, the Rev. Phil Tate and wife, Dee, of California, Rickey Tate and wife, Debbie, of Mansfield, and Dr. Joe Tate and wife, Jana, of Boyd; 21 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and a host of other close family members and friends.
