::Childress Cemetery--Childress TX

Billye D. Wheeler

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Okla. - Billye D. Wheeler, 67, died Friday, June 27, 
2003.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Childress Cemetery with 
Dan Wheeler officiating. Arrangements are by Hackney Funeral Home.

Mr. Wheeler was born Feb. 13, 1936, in Childress to Ted James and 
Laura Lorene Haltum Wheeler. He lived many years in Denver and moved 
to Mountain View nine years ago. He was a member of the Church of 
Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Teddy Gene.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Wheeler and Ted Wheeler, both of 
Denver; two daughters, Teresa Day and Donna Wheeler, both of Denver; 
three brothers, Eddie Wheeler and wife, Lucille, of Oklahoma City, 
Dan Wheeler and wife, Charlotte, of Mountain View and Buford Wheeler 
and wife, Sandra, of Amarillo, Texas; and three sisters, Colene 
Borger and husband, Lacy, of Amarillo, Clariece Beall and husband, 
Harrison, of Clarendon, Texas and Laura Waren of Fort Worth.

The family suggests memorials be to the Ted and Lorene Wheeler 
Scholarship Fund, Lubbock Christian College, 5601 W. 19th, Lubbock, 
TX 79407-2099.
