All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Wasco Memorial Park--Wasco CA Hall, Joe William JOE WILLIAM HALL July 16, 1911 October 25, 2006 Joe William Hall, age 95, was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma, to Siles and Fronie Hall on July 16, 1911. He married Gertrude Evans on October 22, 1932, in Red Oak, Oklahoma. The couple stayed in the area as the started their family and farmed. In 1942 Joe moved the family to Wasco, California where he worked as a Ranch Superintendent in agriculture growing mainly cotton and potatoes. Joe was one of the developing pioneers of the Wasco/Semitropic area. After retirement Joe and his wife moved to Mendota to be closer to family and stay busy in the farming business of their son, Earl Hall. Joe was also a professional team roper and he always made sure his boys had good horses to ride. He was a hard- working man, but he enjoyed occasionally going on hunting trips with friends. Joe's family will always remember how generous and giving he was to them. Joe was preceded in death by his sons, W. D. Hall; and Baby Robert Hall. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; sons, James Hall and his wife Sandy of Visalia, and Earl Hall and his wife Beverly of Fresno; sister, Gladys Hunt of Paradise, California; grandchildren, Brad Hall, Stacy and Todd Hampton, Peggy and Harold Sizemore, Penny and Chris Skeels; great-grandchildren, Dallona and Jimmy Ethredge, Devin Sizemore, Heather and Billy Noll and Hillary Skeels; and two great-great grandchildren, Triston and Maddison. Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco, California on Saturday and Sunday, October 28 and 29, 2006, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Monday, October 30, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Wasco Memorial Park on Monday, October 30, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Ed Boschman of Laurelglen Bible Church.
