Mize William Edward Mize, 82, of Redding died Nov. 28, 2004, at his residence. Born in Red Oak, Okla., he was a former Marysville resident. He was a retired minister of Free Will Baptist Church, had worked as a truck driver, and was the owner of Mize's Broom Factory. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Redding. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Lois Mize of Redding; two sons, Leo Mize of Marysville and Randell Mize of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters, Pam Blythe of Redding and Shirley Webb of Anderson; a brother, James Mize of Antlers, Okla.; a sister, Janie Kappes of Maysville, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Services: A service is scheduled at 2 p.m. today at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2225 Bechelli Lane, Redding, with the Rev. Lane Zachary officiating. Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park.
