Charlie E. Modisette

TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Charlie E. Modisette, 57, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel 
with the Rev. Jim Witcher, minister of First Christian Church, 
officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Cimarron Cemetery at 
Cimarron.

Mr. Modisette was born in Panola, Okla., and had been a lifetime resident 
of Tucumcari. He was employed as a brakeman for Southern Pacific Railroad.

Survivors include five children, Mark Markowski of Austin, Texas; Derek 
Markowitz and Leslie Markowitz, both of Tyler, Texas; and Holly Modisette 
and Tish Modisette, both of Clovis; four sisters, Sherry Modisette, Kay 
Garcia and Pam Modisette, all of Duncanville, Texas, and Lesa McMillan of 
Dallas; four brothers, Wilburn Modisette, Bill Modisette and Dwayne 
Modisette, all of Venus, Texas, and Fred Modisette of Tucumcari.

The body will be available for viewing at the funeral home from this 
afternoon until service time.
