Maltone, Frank

Services will be held Saturday, May 12th, 3:00 p.m., at Stine Road 
Baptist Church, 3001 Stine Road. Frank went to be with his Lord 
Sunday evening. He spent his last day at home surrounded by loving 
family and friends. Standing at his side holding his hands, he was 
ushered into Heaven by his two favorite girls; his wife, Kate Maltone 
and his daughter, Cindy McAtee. Frank was born November 5, 1936, in 
Gowen, Oklahoma and was the sixth child born to Peter and Nola 
Maltone. As a child, Frank spent his early years growing up in Lodi, 
CA. After high school Frank served in the Army in the mid 50's as an 
aerial photographer in Korea. After his service Frank became a letter 
carrier for the Post Office. After 37 years, Frank retired in October 
of 1992. Frank loved to golf every week with his family and friends. 
When he wasn't on the course you'd find him tending to his tomatoes 
and roses. Frank is survived by his wife, Kate Maltone of 25 years; 
his sons, Tony and Jeff Maltone; and daughter, Cindy McAtee; 
brothers, Pete and Louis Maltone and Harley Sides; 9 grandchildren; 
good friend, Paul Swafford; and many family members and friends. A 
special thanks to his big brother, Louis Maltone and his wife, Janice
