Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Higgins Cemetery in Higgins with the Rev. Carolyn Scarth of Claremore, Okla., officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia. Mr. Scarth was born in Okeene, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1980. He was a farmer, livestock trader, and owner-operator of several food and beverage outlets and rental properties. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable. Survivors include two sons, Bill R. Scarth of Claremore and Jim R. Scarth of Laverkin, Utah; a daughter, Jean Ann Scarth Littau of Amarillo; a sister, Jane Schuebel of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101.
