Ouida Blackwood , 82, of Hodgen, OK, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2005, in her home. Ouida was born April 18, 1923, to James Albert and Lala (Plummer) Crutchfield in Waldron, AR. She married R.M. Blackwood May 14, 1943 in Witchita Falls, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carmel Crutchfield.. She is survived by her husband, R.M. Blackwood of the home; three daughters, Barbara Joyce Gipson of Sallisaw, OK, Teresa Devorak and husband Larry of Little Rock, AR, Karen Sullivan and husband Rusty of Hodgen, OK; one brother, Lee Royce Crutchfield of Choctaw, OK; three sisters, Leah Fern Campbell of Heavener, OK, Doris Deatherage of Hodgen, OK, and Alberta Long of Prague, OK; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends that will miss her greatly. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeremey Devorak, J.R. Sullivan, Heath Sullivan, Robbie Gipson, Lance Faddis, Jarret Hetherington. Services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 02, 2005, at First Baptist Church, Heavener, OK, with the Rev. R.M. Blackwood officiating. Burial will follow the services at Sehorn Cemetery in Waldron, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
