Mary Black 1916 - 2008 Graveside services will be held November 5, 
2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Mortuary. Mary came to CA from 
Cowlington, OK by train with her one year old son on September 5, 
1937. At that time, Herbert was working on a ranch in Lamont. They 
moved to the Lamont Hilltop area in the 1940's. Mary was preceded in 
death by her parents, Claude and Mallie Taylor; stepmother, Eloise 
Taylor; husband, Herbert; daughter, Mary Lee Hogan; brother, Bill 
Taylor; three grandsons, Randy, Steven and Todd Hogan. She is 
survived by sons, Herbert Jr., Paul, Charles; daughter, Lois; sister, 
Priscilla Wood; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-
great grandchildren. A special thank you to Mary's grandson Kevin and 
granddaughter Wanda, whose help in caring for Mary has been 
invaluable.
