All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Cherokee Memorial Park--Cherokee CA Cagle, Ulysses "Lonnie" Ulysses "Lonnie" Cagle Former resident of Brentwood Ulysses "Lonnie" Cagle, 76, of Woodbridge, CA, and a former resident of Brentwood, CA, passed away February 3, 2007 in Lodi, CA. He was born to Lloyd and Dona Cagle on October 6, 1930 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma. In 1943 the family moved to Lodi and he was married to Hazel Brooks on September 17, 1950. Mr. Cagle served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. They resided in Concord, CA, from 1958-1965, and Brentwood from 1965- 1979. He was employed by East Bay Municipal District as a foreman for 24 years, and retired in 1977. In 1979 they moved to Galt, CA, and resided there until moving to Woodbridge in 2003. He was a member of the Woodbridge Community Church, and an avid coin collector. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rene Dye. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Cagle of Woodbridge; his children and spouses, Steve Cagle and Connie of Pleasant Valley, Randy Cagle and Donna of Acampo, Sherry Wolfenbarger and David of Byron, and Sue Wolfe and Mike of New Braunfels, TX; brother, Chester Cagle of Lodi; 6 grandchildren, Kristen McDonald and Matt, Bryan Wolfenbarger and Andy, Melissa Wolfenbarger, Amy Cagle, Heather Wolfe and Austin Wolfe; 2 step-grandchildren, Dawn Carvahlo and Tony, and Dean DeVol; and 3 step-great-grandchildren, Kallie, Brandon and Brady Carvahlo. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 9, 1 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy. 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi. Rev. Dr. Sammie Walls officiating, assisted by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Committal will follow in Garden of Memories at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 12:15 p.m. to the service time in the Evergreen Chapel. Arrangements by Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, Lodi.
