"Sant" God saw he was getting tired, and a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around him and whispered "Come with Me". With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best! We will celebrate the life of Sant on Wednesday, March 15th, 2006, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. Sant was born in Spiro, OK, moved to California and attended Arvin High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, married his wife Barbara in 1955, moved to LA County in 1956 and began a 34 year work career which included aerospace technology for Hughes Aircraft. Upon retirement he moved back to Bakersfield to be close to his family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, two very loved pets, Hugo and Phoebe and lots and lots of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and beloved brother, Johnnie. He will be greatly missed by many loved ones. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Optimal Hospice. Sanphord W.
