SAMUEL COLBERT

     Samuel Colbert passed away April 13, 1992 at Sparks Regional Medical
Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  He was born March 26, 1952 in Talihina,
Oklahoma.  He was a new resident of Rock Island, Oklahoma.
     He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Della Colbert; his mother, Bernice
Long of Wilburton, Oklahoma; three daughters, Toni Colbert of Paducah,
Kentucky, Marilyn Jones of Rudy, Arkansas and Tammy Sanders of Pocola,
Oklahoma; one son, Jon Colbert of Paducah, Kentucky; three brothers, Jerry
Colbert of Gailatin, Tennessee, Tommy Colbert of Cameron, Oklahoma and Steve
long of Midland, Arkansas; four grandchildren; four nieces and six nephews.
     Services were held April 16, 1992 at Thessalonians Indian Baptist
Church, LeFlore, Oklahoma with Rev. Roy Gene Edge and Rev. Welcome Nix
officiating.
     Interment was at Thessalonians Cemetery in LeFlore, Oklahoma.
