All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Howe Cemetery--Howe OK Funeral Service: 2:00 PM October 26, 2004 at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel Interment: Following Chapel Services October 26, 2004 at Howe, Oklahoma William "Bill" Frank Callahan, age 75, passed away at his home in Howe, Oklahoma, on October 23, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. Bill was born on October 5, 1929, in Howe to William Jess and Jennie (Jones) Callahan. Bill served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. After the service, Bill worked as a telegrapher lineman with Kansas City Southern railroad. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a daughter. Bill is survived by six daughters and son-in-laws, Teresa and Bill Martin of Howe, Sheila and Johnny Smith of Baytown, Texas, Melissa and Charles Drake of Howe, Joanna and Shawn Goad of Wister, Casandra and Richard Cooper of Poteau, Angela and Rodney Johnson of Howe; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Alan and Judy Callahan of Poteau, and Robin and Kelly Callahan of Howe; two sisters, Bess Hamilton of Heavener, Kathryn and J. F. Johnston of Heavener and the mother of his children Betty White; nineteen grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and many other loved ones and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel in Poteau with the Rev. Joril Morton officiating services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery in Howe, Oklahoma.
