All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Oakland Cemetery--Poteau OK William (Bill) Featherston Camp February 12, 1811 - November 14, 2005 Poteau, Oklahoma Funeral Service: 2:00 PM November 15, 2005 at First Baptist Church, Poteau Interment: , at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau Bill Camp, age 94, passed away Monday, November 14, 2005, at his home in Poteau, Oklahoma. Bill was born February. 12, 1911, in Cameron, Okla., to Matt and Ida (Caldwell) Camp. Bill spent many years working in the coal mine industry and retired from Turman Trucking Company. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Juanita (Vest) Camp; four brothers, Charles, Jerry, Lyle and Lewis Camp; and one sister, Helen Chronister. Bill is survived by three sisters, Jocile Mitchell and Eunice Turman both of Poteau, Jackie Anderson of Tulsa, OK, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Chuck Wagher, Larry Camp, David Robertson, Tommy Robertson, Steve Turman and Charlie Camp. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2005, at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Poteau with the Reverend Phil McGehee officiating.
