All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::West Eufaula Indian Cemetery--Eufaula OK Published January 31, 2007 in Muskogee Phoenix Taylor Fields 1956 - 2007 Taylor Fields, 50, of Eufaula, passed away on Sunday January 28, 2007 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. Taylor was born August 23, 1956 to Edna (Holuby) and Chester Fields in Talahina, Oklahoma. He later moved to the Eufaula area where he was raised and attended school. After school Taylor was married to Mary Lou Harjo and worked at Standard Iron and Steel and Smelter in Oklahoma City from 1974 to 1981. He moved back to Eufaula where he held various jobs until illness overcame him. He loved OU and at one time he was a boxer, played fast pitch softball, dominoes, and horseshoes. His last years were spent special for his family. Taylor was preceded in death by his stepfather Jack Belcher, one brother Johnny Belcher, and one sister Virginia Fields. He leaves behind one daughter, Jessica Renee Fields of Oklahoma City, a son and daughter-in-law, Taylor and Kristi Fields Jr., 8 grandchildren, Salyssa Brown, Richmond Deacon Pennokee, Jordis Dewayne Fields Rubideaux, Hillary, Emily, Sarah Cheyenne, Donovan, and Jordan Taylor Fields, his brothers and sisters, Jackie, Richard, Eugene, Robbie, Ben, Judy, Ramona, Tiny, Marilyn, Jacquelyn, and Nancy, and his life time friend, Mary Lou Harjo. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Raymond Beaver officiating. Music will be by Creek singers and Brian Beaver. Casket Bearers will include Jia Tainpeah, Chebon Holt, Bryan Holt, Robert Holt, Haden Fields, Jackson Lewis, and Chris Belcher. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Belcher, Richard Belcher, Eugene Fields, Robbie Belcher, Benjamin Belcher, Ray Tainpeah, and Harry Harjo. Interment will follow the services at the West Eufaula Indian Cemetery.
