He was born March 12, 1945 in Fort Smith to Billy Joe Golden Sr. and Jane Daniels Golden. He was the owner of Golden Construction and Golden Termite Control both of Poteau. He was a member of the Poteau Lions Club, Kawanis and was a Mason. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was proceeded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father Billy Joe Golden Sr. of Poteau; two daughters Andrea Golden Pogue of Ada OK. and her husband Ronnie, and Christina Golden of TX. one son Billy Joe Golden III of Utah; two sisters Janie Collins of TX. and Judy Hughes of Nevada and many more beloved family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Killian, Ronny Pogue, Dale Killian and Alford Weaver. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday August 11, 2004 at Fort Smith National Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Hess officiating. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
