Harlan 1917 - 2005 Thelma L. Harlan, 87, a devoted mother and grandmother, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Dido United Methodist Church. Burial: Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Thelma L. Harlan was born Aug. 24, 1917, in Whitesboro, Okla. She had been an area resident since 1943 and for many years served as a dispatcher for the Dido Volunteer Fire Department. She was a member of Dido United Methodist Church and the Dido Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Harlan was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loye M. Harlan, on Nov. 26, 2001; an infant son, Loye Don Harlan; brothers, Ozelle Vaught and Willis Vaught; and her parents, H.I. and Martha Vaught.
