All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== :: Talihina Funeral Home Herman Melvin Keith (August 31, 1930 - January 11, 2010) Mr. Herman Melvin Keith, 79, of Whitesboro, Oklahoma., passed away Monday, January 11th, 2010 at Sparks Regional Medical Center, Fort Smith, Arkansas Herman was born in Whitesboro, Oklahoma on August 31, 1930, the son of the late Silva Otis and Annie Lee (Cobler) Keith. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a mechanic. He loved to hunt and fish and being out of doors. He loved to raise a garden and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was the husband of Charlotte (Fletcher) Keith. They were married October 21, 1961 in Coweta, Oklahoma Herman was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Orville Tabor (O.T.) Keith, Thureld Haskell (Hack) Keith and Alvin Ray Keith, two sisters; Vela Leon (Keith) Rowley and Alta Bernadine (Keith) Geary. He is survived by his wife; Charlotte of the home, daughter; Karen and Eugene Armstrong of the home, son; T.J. and Melissa Grey of Buffalo Valley, grandchildren; Randy Armstrong, Rachel Armstrong, Cassie Grey, Courtney Grey and Rachel Grey, sisters; Alva Mae (Keith) Perry and Barbara Jean (Keith) Warrington of Ft. Worth, Texas, brother; Harrold Dale Keith of Whitesboro, special friend; Jim Baxter of Whitesboro, numerous other relatives and friends. Religious Service will be held at the Talihina Assembly of God, Talihina, Oklahoma. at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16th, with Keith Williams and Victor Sweet officiating.
