Potter Willie Ray "Bud" Potter, Willie Ray "Bud" Potter, of Poteau, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 25, 2006. He was retired from the Poteau Police Department after 22 years of service. He is preceded in death by one granddaughter Sondra LeAnn Noah; his father, William Potter; two sisters, Lois Walls and Earlene Halpain; two brothers Doyle and Donnie Potter. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Lyndia; three daughters, Brenda Cheely and her husband, Jimmy, of Panama, Okla., Eva Roberts of Poteau, and Robin Noah of Cameron, Okla.; one son, Gordon Potter of Poteau. "Pa" also left behind 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; his mother Stella "Mae" Potter of Poteau; three brothers, Fred and Charley Potter of Poteau, Okla. and Olen Potter of Kiowa, Okla. Pallbearers will be the Poteau Police Department. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel in Poteau, with the Rev. Everett Morrison officiating the services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Okla.
