She was born October 9, 1909, in Florence, AR to W.R. and Rendy (Collins) Smith. She married William A. Potter on October 7, 1927, in Poteau. She was a Homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sons; Fred Potter, W.R. (Bud) Potter, Doyle Eudell Potter, Sr. and Donnie Potter, Sr. two daughters; Lois Walls and Earlena Halpain. She is survived by two sons; Charley Potter Sr. of Poteau and Olen Potter of Pittsburg, OK and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and other loved ones. Pallbearers will be Charley Potter, Jr., Troy Halpain, Dean Noah, James Duncan, Dale McAlester, and Michael Potter. Honorary pallbearers Gordon Potter, Carl Dean Taylor III Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday June 28, 2006, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Garner Pool officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron.
