All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Greenlawn Cemetery--Bakersfield CA Person, Eva Marie "Rie" (Ree) Eva Marie Person "Rie" (Ree) May 29, 1920 – Feb. 13, 2007 Basham Funeral Care Visitation for Eva Marie Person will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Friday evening February 16, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Saturday morning, February 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. and interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery (River Blvd.) Eva Marie was affectionately known as "Rie" (Ree). She was born in Spiro, Oklahoma on May 29, 1920 and she passed away in Bakersfield, California on Tuesday, February 13, 2007. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Frazier; second husband, Clifford Person; infant daughter Cherry Gay Person; sister, Billie Hooper and her brother Matin Laughlin. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dallas and Sharon Frazier; daughter and son in law, Judy and Leon Shults; son and daughter in law, Michael and Dee Dee Person; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters: Leona James, Juanita Karl and Dovie Stanley; brother, Dennis Laughlin; sisters and brothers in law, June and Herbert Newton and Mary and Tommy Hicks and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rie was a faithful prayer warrior. Jesus was her hope and she was willing to tell others about him when she could. She loved her children and she prayed for them daily. Rie enjoyed making trips back to Oklahoma to visit her home place as much as possible. She was always close to her brothers and sisters. She loved gardening; she had a "green thumb" when it came to raising flowers and vegetables. She was an expert at crocheting. Some of her pieces had peacocks and flowers in them. They were beautiful!
