MICHAEL STEVEN TALLANT

     Michael Steven Tallant, 41, of Pottsboro, Texas was born November 17,
1957 at Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He passed away September 12, 1999 in Pottsboro,
Texas.  He was the son of Wilburn Lee and Ethel Mae Noah Tallant.
     Michael moved to Albion, Oklahoma in 1963.  He attended Albion and
Talihina Schools.  He played football for the Talihina Golden Tigers from
1973 to 1976.  He moved to Texas after finishing school and has worked as a
steel hanger, X-rayed pipelines in oil fields, a builder and an underground
utilities worker.  He loved to spend time with his family and to go hunting
and fishing.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Lee Tallant and Ethel
Mae Noah Tallant Sanders.
     Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Tallant, and one son, Robert Lee
Tallant, both of the home; two sisters, Beverly June Afzali and Susan Kaye
Tallant, both of Poteau, Oklahoma; ten nieces and nephews and numerous
friends and loved ones.
