Traw, 90, of Poteau, Oklahoma, formerly of Arkoma, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2006, in Fort Smith, AR. She was born March 27, 1916, in Charleston, Arkansas, to Bonnie and Carrie (Jasper) East. She married Tom Traw in 1935, in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was a Homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Poteau as well as a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Arkoma, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter; Jane Collier. She is survived by one daughter; Carolyn Sullivan and husband Don, of Poteau, Oklahoma, two sons; Bob Traw and wife Karol, of Arkoma, Oklahoma and G. Tom Traw and wife Ann, of Phoenix, Arizona, seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and her many friends at Poteau Retirement Center. Pallbearers will be Othel Harrison, Gary King, James Brigance, Thomas Sullivan, Tyson Traw, Robert LaBass and Aaron Emberton. Honorary pallbearers will be Milton East, Bret Traw and Bill Thompson. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday July 12, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Poteau, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Phil McGehee officiating.
