All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Wasco Memorial Park Cemetery--Wasco CA Webb, Velma Irene Velma Irene Webb, 75, left this world peacefully on August 22, 2006 with her family by her side. Velma was born in Spiro, Oklahoma on September 8, 1930, the eldest daughter of Virgil and Arlin Wiedower. She spent her early years in Oklahoma and moved to Wasco, California with her family in 1943 where she lived until 1998 when she moved to Bakersfield to be closer to her youngest daughter and grandkids. Velma was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hershel Wiedower; daughter Cletta Sue, and husband Cletus. She is survived by daughter Jan Bryan, son-in-law Jay and grandkids Crystal, Tyler, and Katey, all of Bakersfield; daughter Beth Webb of Fresno; sister Hazel Willard of Buttonwillow; brother-in-laws, Dale Webb and Gerald Webb and numerous family and friends. Velma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved taking trips to the beach, going out to eat, and spending quality time with her grandkids. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Optimal Hospice Care for the wonderful care and support they provided to mom and the family. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 25 at 10 AM at Wasco Memorial Park with Rev. Wayne Montgomery officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 2 PM to 8 PM at Peters Funeral Home.
