She was born September 19, 1943 in Cameron to Grace and Willie Davis. She graduated from Cameron High School in 1961 where she excelled in basketball, making All-State. She worked 37 years for the Department of Human Services and enjoyed working part-time for Jack E. Stanley Accountant. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and held a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She currently attended Oklahoma State University Where she was a Candidate for a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a member of the Oklahoma Order of the Eastern Star, First United Methodist Church of Poteau, and OPEA. She is preceded in death by her husband in death by her husband, Ed Wagner, her parents Grace and Willie Davis, her brothers Ray Doyle Davis, and Thell (Butch) Davis ad a nephew Mitch Davis She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Shannon Jordan of Midland, AR, a son and daughter-in-law, Eric Wayne and Tammy Kirkland of Atoka, OK, three grandchildren: Sherman, Angela and Katherine Jordan, two sisters: Mae Slavens of Poteau and Demeris Kilgore of Irving, TX two brothers: Lee Davis of Checotah and Art Davis of Holton, KS, three nieces and four nephews, and a host of many wonderful friends. Pallbearers will be Joe Poe, Jim Hurst, Monty Shockley Sr., Jay Sommers, Joel Talley, Otis Dawes, Carroll Hale, and Howard Raines Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 16, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Poteau with the Rev. Gregory J. Tener officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
