::Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery--Bakersfield CA

Watson, Juanita Magdeline

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., 
Wednesday, June 21, at 1:00 p.m., for Juanita Magdeline Watson, 86, 
who passed away, June 16, 2006. Pastor Roger Spradlin will officiate. 
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Watson was 
born on May 10, 1920, in Spiro, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County 
for 59 years. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church, Past 
President of AARP, member of Roving Elks of Bakersfield Elks Lodge 
and Valley Voyagers. In spite of a lack of formal education, Mrs. 
Watson achieved a high level of business competence working hand and 
hand with her husband, Freeman, for 30 years. She traveled the world 
with her husband and was an excellent fisherman and a wonderful wife. 
Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband, Freeman P. Watson of 
Bakersfield; son, Don Watson of San Francisco; daughter, Carol Ann 
Watson of San Anselmo, CA; and brother, Clarence Foyil of Oklahoma. 
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Valley Baptist 
Church, 4801 Fruitvale Ave., Bakersfield, CA Visitation begins today, 
3-9 p.m. Juanita Magdeline Watson May 10, 1920 - June 16, 2006
