Thursday, November 20, 1997 Jimmy Frank Workman Midwest City resident Jimmy Frank Workman died Wednesday at the age of 48. Workman was born Feb. 14, 1949, in Talihina, to Frank and Lois Jeannette Dukes Workman. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1968, and was a pharmacy courier at Midwest City Regional Hospital, where he worked for 20 years. He had lived in Midwest City since 1991 and was the former "general manager" for the Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball team and the Shawnee High School girl's basketball team. He was voted the "Most Loyal Fan" by the Shawnee Booster Club. Workman was a member of the Heritage Church of Shawnee. Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Johnny Workman of Oklahoma City, James and Linda Workman of Kansas City, Mo.; his father, Frank and Pat Workman of Mustang; an aunt, Henryetta Imbese of Talihina; his adopted family, Gary and Marianne Hudson, Nate and Kelsey Hudson, all of Shawnee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Jeannette Dukes Workman on Nov. 22, 1986. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday at Heritage Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Norris officiating.
