He was born June 5, 1924, in Stroud, OK, to Howard and Roxie Donahue, who preceded him in death. Howard drove stock cars at the Tulsa Fairgrounds Racetrack during the 1950's. He was considered practically unbeatable on the fifth-of-a-mile oval and was many times a track champion. Mr. Donahue was an avid ham radio enthusiast and designed and constructed radio towers throughout the United States, right up until his death. He is survived by: his sister, Mildred Hampton of Sand Springs, OK. A Graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
