All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Drake, Louise Louise Drake Funeral service for Nellie "Louise" Drake, age 91, Frederick, Oklahoma, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2002, at the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Henry Chennault, intentional interim pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Drake died Tuesday evening, November 26, 2002, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. Private interment will be at Frederick Memorial Cemetery, Frederick, Oklahoma. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Thanksgiving Day from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. She was born May 29, 1911, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Walter Frank and Pearl Pauline (Ragsdale) Richardson. She lived in Canadian, Texas all of her early life, and attended Canadian Schools. During her years in school she won the State Typing Contest for Speed and she was an excellent swimmer and diver. She graduated from Canadian High School. She attended Hills Business College in 1932 and Oklahoma City University for two years. She worked as an office supervisor for Wolf Advertising Company in Oklahoma City for many years. She married Ralph Drake on December 24, 1933, in Oklahoma City. They came to Frederick in 1948, and Ralph managed the CR Anthony Company Store and Louise was an ideal housewife. They were active members of the First Baptist Church of Frederick. Preceded in death by her husband on May 21, 1996; a sister: Mildred Marjorie Watkins and a brother: Donald R. Richardson. Survivors include brother: Francis R. Richardson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; aunt: Eva Jenson, of Studio City, California; nephew: Dr. Kenneth Robert Richardson, of Denver, CO; and other extended family.
