All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Avery Cemetery--Avery OK Cushing Daily Citizen February 27, 2007 01:14 pm Ruby Mae Dethloff Ruby Mae Dethloff, longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 in her residence at the age of 85 years. The daughter of the late Claude Dale Oxley and Myrtle Palmerton Oxley, Ruby was born on Feb. 11, 1922 in Guthrie and was reared and educated in the Guthrie Schools. She was united in marriage to George Dethloff in the 1940's in Enid, and to this union four children, Darlene, Ernestine, Linda and Yvonne. Ruby was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church. She loved to bake and cook; attend garage sales but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband George, of the home; three daughters, Ernestine Cummings and her husband Jay of Edmond, Linda Cummings and her husband Chris of Tryon and Yvonne Williams and her husband Gary of Cushing; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her twin sister, Ruth; two brothers; one sister; one daughter, Darlene and one granddaughter, Tiffany. Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at 2 P.M. in the 1st Assembly of God Church with Pastor Robert Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Avery Cemetery.
