Springer died Saturday in the Logan County Health Center. Services will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the Noble Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Hollis Morris Officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Elston was born July 31, 1909 near Crescent. He was a retired employee at Tinker Air Force Base and was a member of the Noble Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons; Glen, Harold and Loren; two daughters; Barbara Lettington and Sharon Holman; three sisters, Velma Eubanks, Faye Waller and Eva McCutchen; two brothers; Chest and Alfred; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
