The Rev. Dennis Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home. Born Feb. 9, 1893, in Navina, OK, to John James and Nancy Elizabeth Nelson, she died at her home in Guthrie, on Sunday, December 1, 1985. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union. She was also a Bible school teacher at the Missionary Baptist Church in Arkansas City, Kan. She is survived by two brothers, Joe Nelson of Overbrook, Kan., and Clifton Nelson of Beaumont, Calif.; three sisters, Ruth Laurent of Metairie, La., Evalina Kessler of Asberry, Calif., and Marie Johnson of Denver, Colo.; one nephew, Bill Nelson of Guthrie; one sister-in-law, Marie Nelson of Guthrie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi; five brothers and one sister.
