All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Okmulgee Cemetery--Okmulgee OK Michael Lee Huskey, 46, a resident of Okmulgee, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 in Henryetta. He was born on Sunday, February 21, 1960 to Odis Lee and Ann (Weatherly) Huskey in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He served 27 years as a lineman at East Central Electric and was a member of the Okmulgee Elks for 4 years. He was on the Men’s Bowling team for several years and he played softball for a great number of years as well. Mike loved spending a lot of time camping at the lake with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Huskey in November 2003; brother, Kevin Huskey and grandmother, Ivon Huskey in July 2006. Survivors include: wife; Bette Huskey of the home; father: Odis Huskey of Okmulgee; sister: Debra Amison and husband, Richard of Alabama; five children: Justin Huskey and wife, Heather of Glenpool; Leslie Pembrook and husband, Brandon of Morris; Amber Barker of Durant; Adam Wells of Henryetta and Cody Williams of the home; three grandchildren: Riley, Hannah and McKinsey; one niece; two nephews; three great nephews; two great nieces and a host of family and friends. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee with Pastor Lloyd Morris officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Gary Kelley of Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Charlie Brasier, John Womack, Calvin Crandell, George Grider, Farrin Sullivan, Kenny Hamon, Jerome Roberts and Jody Gilroy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Floyd Kinsey, Kevin Pemberton and Sean Chasteen and all the REC Lineman past and present.
