She was born January 13, 1932 to John Madison and Florence Marie (Bay) Deaton. She was married to Lee Roy Hoel in Guthrie on May 2, 1952. They were married 42 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy, her father and mother, 1 brother George Deaton, 1 grandson Nathan Clutter and 1 son-in-law Larry Clutter. She is survived by her 6 children, Ricky and wife Debra Hoel, Deborah Clutter, Anita and husband David Canary, Gloria and husband George Coker, Daryl and wife Dianne Hoel, and Jackie Hooten all of Guthrie. She had 17 grandchildren, Patricia, Chris, Cassie, Brian, Randy, and Teresa Hoel, Michael, Kari, and Staci Clutter, Kyle, Jason, and Cody Canary, Georjanne Frederick, Lee Coker, Mercedez Anderson, and Blane Hooten. She had 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Gerald Deaton of Guthrie and Jim Deaton of Edmond, and I sister Donna Hurtt of McLoud, Oklahoma. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Emmanuel Baptist Recycled Teenagers of Edmond. Her funeral services will be held at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church of Edmond at 2 pm, Monday, January 20, 2003. Burial following at Arlington Memory Gardens.
