ANOTHER LONG TIME RESIDENT IS DEAD

Mrs. Nancy MARTIN 60 years of age, long time resident of Guthrie, passed
beyond at 3:30 Thursday afternoon at the M.E. hospital, where she had
underwent an operation. The deceased was born in Custer County, Illinois
in 1855 and came to Oklahoma shortly after the opening of the country to
settlement. she had been ill for about a year. Funeral services will be
held at the Episcopal church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by
Rev. A.B. NICHOLAS. Burial will be made in Summit View Cemetery. She leaves
eight children, 5 girls and 3 boys, all of whom will be here to attend the
funeral. Two daughter and one son live here, Mrs. Earl DEETER, AND Mrs. Emma
RICH and R. MARTIN.
