All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Rogers, Jeanne Jeanne Rogers, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 14, 2005. Born Lovell Jeanne Baker on December 2, 1931, Jeannie grew up in Crescent, Ok. She graduated from Crescent High School in 1949. Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Elizabeth Baker of Crescent, and her husband of 22 years, Leon Rogers. She is survived by her son Jay Bradshaw of OKC, and his wife Tammy, son Kevin Bradshaw of Houston, TX and his wife Yvonne, daughter Jana Partin of OKC and her husband Bobby, stepdaughters Terry Clark of Boulder, Co, Jan Katz of San Diego, CA and her husband Alan, Vicki Christine of Dallas, TX and her husband, Tom, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, her cat and loving companion, Bosworth (Boz), and a large network of extended family and beloved friends. An avid Sooner football fan, Jeannie enjoyed cheering her team on either in person or at home surrounded by family, food, laughter, and love. Since 1966, Jeannie had also been an active member of the Oklahoma Epsilon chapter of Delta Theta Chi sorority, and when in good health attended the New Covenant Christian Church.A true matriarch of a large and close-knit family, Jeannie will be dearly missed. We will remember her for her humor, generosity, impeccable style, fun-loving spirit, and the genuine love and affection she showered on us all. Services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at New Covenant Christian Church. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
