Mary L. Sisney

Mary Louise Sisney, 82, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2003, in 
Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was born to Clarence and Ethel (Malone), Cheek on 
December 26, 1920.

She married Veachel C. "Bake" Baker in December 1936. He preceded her in 
death on January 19, 1967. She later married James Sisney on January 6, 
1971 in Dewey, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1998. 
She lived in the Dewey and Bartlesville areas for 47 years.

She worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penny in Bartlesville for 18 years, 
retiring in the early 1980's. She was a active member of the Dewey, First 
Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 3 sisters and 3 
brothers.

She is survived by three daughters, Judy Quisenberry and husband Rowland, 
of Stillwater, Carol Myers of Oklahoma City and Rosemary Stammer of 
Owasso; one brother; Bill Cheek of Gonzales, Texas; eight grandchildren 
and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at 
Mobley-Dodson Funeral Chapel in Sand Springs and interment will follow at 
Woodland Memorial Park under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral 
Service.
