All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::South Lawn Cemetery--Tucson AZ Tucson Citizen, Tucson AZ Marilyn Kay Sullivan born December 13, 1948, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Nathaniel and Rosetta Sullivan. She was a graduate of Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma. She resided in Tucson, Arizona for the past 30 years, and has worked in many Social Service positions throughout her career. Her employment for the past ten years was with the Department of Economic Security. She worked with youth and adults to help them achieve their goals. Marilyn was a longtime member of Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church. She was a proud member of the Missionary Choir and a member of the Scholarship Committee. On May 9, 2004, Marilyn departed this life to join our Heavenly Father. We know that Heaven is rejoicing with her arrival. We will miss her dearly, but she will always be in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Rosetta Sullivan. She is survived by a daughter, Kiva Caldwell, of Tucson, Arizona; three sisters, Mary Sullivan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Barbara Money, of Plano, Texas, and Brenda Wright of Tucson, Arizona; brother, Reggie Sullivan of Charlotte, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
