She was born December 22, 1915 in Lenora, OK to Menzo Lorenzo (Jack) Hiler and Elva (Coleman) Hiler. She married Ray V. Son on Nov. 12,1937 in Guthrie, OK. 'Mom, we speak your name with pride and relive our memories'. Your sweet and gentile smile is forever a treasured keepsake in our hearts. Never judgmental, always loving and kind, you are a shining example for all your friends and family. You are the foundation, the heart and the spirit of us all. Child, sister, wife and mother. Grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, Aunt, niece, granddaughter and neighbor. She was our friend. She was the softness and the good in our lives. And now, she is the angel who awaits us. May we strive to be with her again. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ray; a daughter, Carolyn Gers; and 2 brothers, Harry and Ward Hiler. She is survived by 3 children, Barbara Ruth Thomas, Janice Kay Duncanson and husband Manny, and James Son, all of OKC; a brother, Lenn Hiler and wife Billie of Peyton, CO; a sister, Betty Clark and husband Clifton of Haviland, KS.; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and in-Iaws. Our deeply heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the care givers from Good Shepherd Hospice - Michelle Billings, RN; Jackie Stinett, Social Worker; Gerry Glower, Chaplin; Katrina Jones, CAN, Volunteers, Colleen Withrow, Helen Balke, Bobbie Kaserman and weekend and evening on call RN's Lori and Lisa. Also the St. Ann's Nursing Home's entire staff and the wonderful RN's Cheryl, Francis, Karen and Virginia; and the 'special attention' given by Ella and Maxine. Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, August 15th at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
