While a child her parents moved to Missouri. Afterwards moving to Oklahoma near Marshal, where her father still lives. She was married to David Baker, who only lived about a year, leaving her with a baby boy to care for. She remained a widow four years and was married to Joseph D. Wood, November 18, 1904 and died September 23, 1907, being 32 years, 6 months, 17 days old. She leaves three small children, her husband, a father, one brother, three sisters and a number of relatives and a host of friends. Sister Wood was converted while young and united with the Missionary Baptist Church in which faith she died. The funeral services were conducted by Elder W.F. Farrar, at Union Chapel, September 26. A large number of friends attended the services. A Friend.
