All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Younger, Romaine Worraick 1922 - 2005 Romaine Worraick Younger, 83, passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at East St. Paul Baptist Church. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. The family would like to invite you to stop by the funeral home and leave a tribute to Mr. Younger in the Enduring Memories Booth. Romaine Worraick Younger was born Aug. 9, 1922, to Nodie Mae Fenell Younger and Lonnie Lee Younger on a 160-acre farm in Navina, Okla., in Logan and Springship County. He received his education from Sunny Side Elementary in Navina, Okla. After moving to Guthrie, Okla., he attended school in the Seward school district and then Douglas High School in Crescent, Okla. His Christian experience began at an early age. At age 11, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and united with St. Matthew Baptist Church. He was baptized by the Rev. Henry Burley. His devotion to God and man continued until his demise. He was employed by the U.S. government as a building manager until his retirement. He moved to Fort Worth in April 1968 and united with East St. Paul Baptist Church. He served as a faithful deacon and trustee until ill health caused him to become homebound. Survivors: Mr. Younger leaves to mourn his devoted wife and caregiver, Louise Younger; daughters, Shelia Ann Younger and husband, Charlie, Sheree Lee and husband, Robert, Frankie Taylor and Nicole Taylor; sons, Donald Lee Edward Younger and wife, Vicki, and Gary F. Johnson and wife, Susan; goddaughters, Louise M. Hodge, Vivian Wright, Ruby Sparks and Ruby McEwing; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
