Gniffke Services for Aubner E. "Bob" Gniffke of Falconhead are pending and will be announced by Kennedy Funeral Home. Born May 27, 1919, at Cottonwood, Minnesota, the son of Gustav D. and Marion Christianson Gniffke, Mr. Gniffke died October 7, 1998, at Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 79. He had lived at Falconhead for 20 years, after moving from Minnesota. Mr. Gniffke and Dagny Kompelien were married April 5, 1942, at Cottonwood. He was a retired farmer, of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Falconhead Christian Fellowship. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dagny Gniffke of the home at Falconhead; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis O. and Cherie Gniffke of Austin, Minnesota; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Richard Selby of Gage, Bonnie and Don Paczkowski of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Marion Leimbach of Marcell, Minnesota; five brothers, Loris Gniffke, Elton Gniffke, Donald Gniffke and Glenn Gniffke of Cottonwood, and Kenneth Gniffke of Paynesville, Minnesota; a sister, Grace Paradis of Granite Falls, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
