Andy Burns officiating. Mrs. Green was born September 4, 1933, near Marietta, the daughter of Murl and Rosie Burton Brown. She died Sunday, November 18, 2001, in Norman. Mrs. Green grew up near Marietta. At the age of 17 she met and married Lloyd Green and he preceded her in death in July of 1991. They moved to Garvin County soon after their marriage and made their home east of Wynnewood. Mrs. Green continued to live near Wynnewood until after her death. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Special Ladies Group and the Church of Christ of Wynnewood. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd Harold and Deborah Green of Wynnewood; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy Fay and Lonnie Kile of Wynnewood; three granddaughters, April Green, Surpina Green and Dalenna Green of Wynnewood; her mother, Rosie Crow of Marietta; a brother, Bobby Brown of Marietta; a half-brother, Ed Thurman of Ardmore; a sister, Margie Blanton of Ardmore; and a half-sister, Mary Troulenger of Ardmore. Mrs. Green was also preceded in death by her father, two brothers, and one half-sister. Pallbearers were Willis Hensley, Curtis Stubblefield, John Shipley, Paul Pope, Joe Knight and Arlus Sudbury. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home, Wynnewood. Published in the Marietta Monitor, Love County, Friday, November 23, 2001.
