Jerry Walker officiating. Mr. Hodges was born August 8, 1917, in Orr, the son of Walter and Fannie Roberts Hodges. He died Friday, January 25, 2002, at his residence in Oklahoma City. A resident of Oklahoma City since 1956, Mr. Hodges had previously made his home in Ardmore. He and Clara Louise Cameron were married December 27, 1945, in Marietta. Mr. Hodges was an accountant for a number of years, working with the Department of Human Services, the State Banking Department and Exchange Bank of Ardmore. He was a member of the Baptist Temple in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Clara Louise Hodges of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Joe Sherrer of Covington, Louisiana; a sister, Grayce Walker of Ardmore; two grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, John Sherrer and Andy and Megan Sherrer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Paul Hodges, and a sister, Ola Harreld. Services were under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
