Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with James Garten, pastor of Pavillard Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Barclay was born April 24, 1914, in Love County, Okla., to Zetta and William David Barclay. He married Coreene Harris on Nov. 3, 1942, in Silverton. He worked for Fyfe Cement Co. for 20 years. He retired from Groendyke Transport and farmed for Danny Detten for several years. He served with the C.C.C. during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1985. Survivors include four daughters, Juanita Faye Yarber, Connie June Moorman and Cindy Ann Pringle, all of Amarillo, and Linda Louise Willard of Hatten, Ark.; four sons, William "Bill" Davis Barclay, Billy Wayne Barclay, Ricky Lynn Barclay, and Lonnie Gene Barclay, all of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
