The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *********************************************************************** Obit for Bobbie Del Giese Services for former Marietta resident, Bobbie Del Giese, will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in The Williamsburg Room of Thompsons' Harveson & Cole Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. Interment will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Valley View Cemetery. Mrs. Giese was born November 19, 1907, in Joshua, Texas, and died December 12, 1999, in Fort Worth. A homemaker, she was a member of the First Methodist Church, Eastern Star and United Methodist Women. Mrs. Giese made her home in Marietta from 1927 to 1992 when she moved to Gainesville, Texas. She had made her home in Fort Worth since 1997. Survivors include two granddaughters, Melody Brewer of Fort Worth, and Angi Ahlrich of New York City; and three great-grandchildren, Selena Brewer, Joshua Brewer and Ryan Brewer. Mrs. Giese was preceded in death by her husband, Herman William Giese in 1984; a daughter, Sharon Ann Hufford in 1989; two sisters, Willie Mae Clark and Johnnie Loue Brawner Kuntz; and two brothers.
