The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *********************************************************************** Obit for Becky Mullens A memorial service for Becky Mullens, 84, was conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Oklahoma City, with interment at 2:30 p.m. in Resurrection Cemetery in Oklahoma City. A memorial service for Mrs. Mullens was also held at Falconhead at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Born May 21, 1914, at Cordell, Mrs. Mullens died March 5, 1999, after an extended illness. She was the daughter of William S. and Ada Mary Copeland. She married Jeff Mullens in Frederick in 1933, and they made their home in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Mullens was active in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School classes and was instrumental in establishing the church library. She was employed as Secretary to the Director of the State Firefighters Association for 17 years. Mrs. Mullens, a resident of Falconhead since 1978, was active in the Ladies' Golf Association and Falconhead Christian Fellowship. She is survived by a daughter, Suzan Mullens of Bethany; and many friends. Mrs. Mullens was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years.
